Cold mornings are here, in Ottawa. It was -2 C / 28 F this morning so I had to get the snow suits up from the basement for the kids to wear. Of course G didn't want to wear his, so he got "layers" instead. Hats and mitts were not a problem though and J & G enjoyed exhaling to see the 'smoke' all the way to the bus stop. ( I finally found a second safety-orange toque at the Canadian Tire for G, but forgot to bust it out this morning - tomorrow! - if it's cold enough. )
J & G were passed out when we got home last night from dinner at Uncle G & Auntie K's. I dumped them in their beds with their clothes on and they barely budged. So the question of the day at the breakfast table was "Daddy are we going to wear the same clothes today?" I haven't got that lazy as a parent yet, but don't put it past me, if we all miss an alarm/sunrise one of these days.
Mommy/E is off to Vegas* for a work trip (conference). So instead of typing everything down to her in an email or IM, I decided to put it here. Maybe more family will be interested in reading it as a way to stay in touch. Although I have to say, using Cluster has been an awesome way of communicating daily happenings across the continent. Get Cluster, people.
And stay warm.
* Vegas weather this week is hot.
